My brother is in town from New York. We've been pretty busy.
The top five winners of the recent Amazon.com commercial contest were announced today. The video that my brother and I submitted was, sadly, not chosen.
Oh well. At least I got to keep the tight-fitting camouflage pouch shorts.

Hello everyone. My name is Brody Russell. Uncle Alan is letting me borrow his blog for a little bit today. I hope that's okay.
I like to say my ABCs. I like to read books. But my absolute favorite is to play games on my Uncle Alan's iPod Touch. My favorite letter on the keyboard is "q." Here is a sample of what I can do with it: qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQqqqqq. I am sitting with my Uncle Alan right now because Mommy and Daddy are at the hospital. We're just hanging out. Grandpa picked me up from my house last night so they could go see the doctor. I spent the night at Grandma Russell's house, and when I woke up in the morning, I was a Big Brother! Mommy was real brave and had my baby sister Kiley. She came into the world a little bit early, so she might have to stay at the hospital for a few days. This will give me plenty of time to clean up my room before she comes home. (Sometimes I make a mess of all my toys. I can't help it! I'm just a kid!) Here are some things that I will do to be the best big brother in the world:
Amazing physical stamina. Perfectly spaced-apart teeth. The voracity of a elderly nursing home resident on Free Pudding Cup Day. Killer dance moves. Insatiable appetite for egg nog. Succinct. Potent. Good for you. High in fiber. Low in trans fats. The party portion of a mullet. Keen sense of hearing. Lousy sense of smell. Simultaneously timeless and punctual. Your new best friend from way back when.
