Here's My Updated Contact Information

Today marks the first (and possibly last) day that I've ever worn contact lenses. I'm not sure yet how I feel about the whole situation. After nearly 5 hours of wear, I have come to two possible conclusions:

  1. They have given me a serious eye infection.
  2. The optic nerve in my right eye is dissolving. (Could also be from watching too much Conan and Jimmy Fallon.)

I'm gonna give it one more day, and if things don't improve then it's back to regular old glasses for me.

Eye infection? Last couple of pictures look like a head infection - you should get that looked at...

I wore contacts for a year in high school, not a big fan. Glasses are so much lower maintenance and irritation (interestingly, the girlfriend feels exactly the opposite - she despises wearing glasses).

It's very doubtful that you've got an eye infection within that short of a time frame. You might just have to get used to them, or there may be an issue with the right contact.

On a side note, in the sixth and seventh pictures you look like you would fit in well with the ants from Antz, the movie with Woody Allen as the main characters voice. Just thought I'd point that out :)
